Sabinyo Group has a total of 10 animals
that live in Rwanda. This group usually
stays near the edge of the forest
as Mt. Sabinyo is very steep. The
volcanoes crater has a very jagged
rim and the name means "Old Mans
Teeth". Park Headquarters in
Kinigi is based at the foot of Mt.
Sabinyo.

The
Mubare gorilla group lives in the
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda.
This group consists of 8 animals and
trekking to these gorillas is difficult
as the forest is very thick with bamboo
trees and the terrain is very steep.
The Silverback is called, "Ruhondeza"
and has been leading for years. |

Lead Silverback-Ubumwe
The Amahoro Group of gorillas live
in Rwanda and consists of 15 animals.
The group split last year creating
two Amahoro groups and the other group
is made up of 6 animals. This was
done by fighting between the two Silverback
gorillas within the group.

to climb and visit this group.
